Denby Transport is setting up a loading trial between the UK and Holland with a customer who is very keen to see this market developed.
Although the LHV is still not road legal in the UK we intend to load the two halves from a UK manufacturing plant and ship them with the tractor unit to Holland. Once in Holland we will be able to couple up the unit to deliver and reload for the UK. In a nut shell two tractor units will be required to load and deliver the LHV in the UK. However the Dutch will steal a march on the UK by only requiring one tractor unit to deliver and reload the vehicle. This represents a great efficiency saving for the Dutch manufacturers as opposed to the British manufacturers.
