| Further LHV news | The IRU has adopted the following position. |
| Oct 07 | IRU recognises that on the basis of current trials the EMC offers a number of advantages,environmental,co-modality etc but it is not universally applicable across the whole EU at this stage. IRU encourages Member States to undertake proper test results to find solutions to existing challenges and harmonised European rules which could lead to the use of EMC combinations in due course. The powers that be in the IRU were quite adament that a position needed to be taken at the meeting and worked hard to find this compromise and in the end no one voted against it. |
