Nine Denby Transport drivers have been awarded the IRU Diploma of Honour Award
The International Road Transport Union honour drivers in recognition of excellent and loyal services provided as a professional driver in the accomplishment of national and international road transport operations. In 2011 Denby Transport have had nine drivers awarded the prestigious medal and certificate. The mood was bouyant amongst the drivers concerned who are often the unsung heros in the freight industry. How good it is to have a good news story to report in these difficult times. Many of the drivers have 20 years plus service with Denby Transport and some have 30 years plus service under their belts.
