  • Classroom instruction: Learn about forklift operation, safety regulations, hazard awareness, load handling, and maintenance procedures through classroom lectures, videos, and discussions.

  • Practical training: Gain hands-on experience operating a forklift under the supervision of a qualified instructor. Practice maneuvering, stacking, and loading/unloading loads in a controlled environment.

5. Pass training:

  • The training is made up of a theory test, pre-use test & basic practical operators skills test.

  • Practical element: Demonstrate your ability to safely operate a forklift by completing a series of tasks and manoeuvres as instructed by the examiner.

6. Receive Certification:

  • Upon successfully passing both the written and practical exams, you will receive a forklift operator certification.

  • The certification may be in the form of an e-card and certificate

7. Renew Certification as Needed:

  • Forklift certifications typically have an expiration date of 3 years, after which you will need to renew your certification through refresher training and/or retesting.

  • Stay informed about any updates to safety regulations or best practices in forklift operation to maintain your skills and ensure compliance.

8. Seek Employment Opportunities:

  • With your forklift certification in hand, you'll be eligible to apply for jobs that require forklift operation. Look for opportunities in warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and other industrial settings.

By following these steps and completing a certified training program, you can obtain the necessary skills and knowledge to operate a forklift safely and legally, ensuring the well-being of yourself and those around you in the workplace.
