The Danish government consultation which is due to publish in October favours Eco-Link or similar concepts. Their proposals specifically ban "self steer or self tracking axles" on the link trailer, but effectively ban fixed axle trailers by insisting that the central turning point of the trailer does not exceed 6.2m from the pin. Also as Swedish regulation forbid steering axles on trailers when travelling at speeds over 40 kph this also favours Eco-Link with its max steer only at speeds below 15kph and then graduated down to zero at 40 kph.
